Godfrey Mwakikagile, Investment Opportunities Worldwide (Grand Rapids, Michigan: National Academic Press, 2004)

This work by Godfrey Mwakikagile, an African academic author,  focuses on investment opportunities on a global scale in the era of globalization fueled by free-market policies, with the private sector as the locomotive of change across the spectrum.

The author has chosen a number of countries as the best markets for investment based on their economic potential and performance, and political stability, although the criteria he has employed to focus on these areas may be questioned by some analysts in different regional contexts; for example Africa versus Asia.

The book is divided into seven parts to reflect regional balance in a global context:

Investment Opportunities in Africa: South Africa, Botswana, Mauritius, Namibia, Angola, Gabon, zambia, Swaziland, Mozambique, Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, Democratic Republic of Congo, Congo-Brazzaville, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Nigeria, Ghana, Ivory Coast

Investment Opportunities in Asia: Southeast Asia - Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, South Korea; India, China, Japan, The Philippines, Pakistan

Investment Opportunities in Australia and New Zealand

Investment Opportunities in Europe: Germany, Britain, France, Spain, Belgium, Austria, Italy, The Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark

Investment Opportunities in the Caribbean: Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados, Bermuda, Grenada, Virgin Islands

Investment Opportunities in North America: United States, Canada

Investment Opportunities in Latin America: Mexico, Venezuela, Chile, Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, Guyana
